The bad news is that I have to pay sixty quid just to get on their books. The good news is that I can claim that money back after I've worked five shifts. The money pays for the one day's training and the criminal record checks (as well as weeding out the uncommitted, I presume). My main anxiety is that the stint I had off work with depression will count against me. There's no avoiding the issue, as a medical consent form which allows them to contact my doctor, is in with the application pack. There is an option not to allow them to contact my doctor, but I doubt that would be a wise course.
With one day to go, my latest Threadlss submission has had 2,306 score and it's had 23 comments, mostly favourable. So here's hoping it'll be picked. The odds are remote, but you never know.
