A fifteen page story about the MMR vaccination controversy. As ever, I'm sure a few spelling errors have slipped past me. Feel free to point any out so I can correct them.

The reference links for the strip are in the next blog entry.

Now! Let's have a heated debate!

2013 update. Since I wrote this blog entry, this cartoon strip as well as many others on such subjects as homeopathy, chiropratic, evolution, and the supposed NASA Moon hoax landings, have been published in a book: Science Tales in the UK (Myriad Edtions) and How To Fake A Moon Landing in the US and Canada (Abrams). Here's the link to my main blog.

Excellent - now do Cheney and Gore

This is good stuff! In other words, if someone has all the solutions to a problem they just made up or took advantage of trending data to lie about, then they are just making things up in order to get money and power. I agree.

Now do one with Cheney where Bush's administration wants war for oil and he has all these conflicting interests meaning the war must be about those conflicting interests. And I agree - it's probably all about those conflicting interests.

Then do Al Gore. Where he cries that the planet is heating up and unless we buy carbon credits (or something, he's just suggesting obviously), and sure enough it is, and surely that will continue, right?...So Al sets up some companies trading in a commodity based on these fears, I mean who doesn't want to save the planet? Turns out Al Gore has all kinds of planet-saving stuff already in place, wow - what a genius - he has the solutions all ready for us, before we even have defined the entire problem. He's at least as good as Wakefield.

Lies and fear know no party affiliation, neither should cynicism.

Re: Excellent - now do Cheney and Gore

when the majority of scientists agree Al Gore is wrong about the environment, you'll be right. Until then, bzzzzt, stupid comparison.

"when the majority of scientists agree Al Gore is wrong about the environment, you'll be right."

Funny, I haven't heard of many scientists who endorse his carbon credit pyramid scheme.

Y'know, like the one he donates to that he also coincidentally happens to own.
