Breaking Bad and Batman

I had a few days in which I was extremely energised and productive, managing to draw a number of short strips and various pieces. Now however, I've slumped back into a slough of inertia, where I'm struggling to motivate myself.

I've really enjoyed Breaking Bad, a series in which a nondescript high-school chemistry teacher, after being diagnosed with cancer, becomes a drug kingpin. It's part comic-crime thriller and part family drama. It's a grimy, funny, sometimes brutal story about a middle-age man, whose immanent death releases him from his dull, underachieving life, so that he can finally live (and break every rule while he's doing it).

I've been drawing Batman a lot lately. I don't know why.
