Two pages from a new Psychiatric Tales story that will be the kick off chapter in the second volume. I've decided to go with colour this time, because I was really struggling with the black and white artwork. My bag of tricks seemed all used up. I'm hoping that colour will free my imagination and give me some new visual ideas to play with. There's a few errors here, but I'll correct them before I post the entire finished piece.

Lovely colours - will volume 2 be in colour then?

I'm interested to see what you have to say about this; I went to observe some ECT for a day since I was curious and had the free time, and you seem to have had the same overall impression that I did.

Definitely not like it's portrayed in the movies, at the very least.

This is really interesting - I didn't realize the electricity was such a low voltage, since of course that's not what you learn watching movies about people getting electroshock therapy.

I love the use of color in this installment.

Wow, this one is very clever. I love the visual references to electricity (lightning, light switch, etc). I love the use of color--you didn't use so much that it lost the somber feel of the topic at hand, and I like that you used only reds/oranges/yellows (colors usually associated with fire, heat, intensity) alongside the gloomy greyscale colors (associated with sadness). You communicate a lot using just color and visuals.

This looks fascinating and I can't wait to see the rest.
